Test sieve shakers are instruments used to perform particle size analysis by passing particles through a set of sieves with known mesh sizes. These shakers are commonly used in QC/QA and R&D applications to determine the particle size distribution of materials such as powders and granules.

The shaker is made up of a motor that vibrates the sieves, causing the particles to move through the openings in the sieve. The vibration frequency and range can be changed to suit the characteristics of the material being tested and requirements of the user. After a pre-set amount of time, the particles are separated into fractions based on their size, and the measurement of the weight of each fraction is taken.

Test sieve shakers come in various sizes and configurations, including electromagnetic, digital, and manual models. They can be used for wet or dry sieving and are typically constructed from materials such as stainless steel or brass to ensure durability and accuracy.

At Haver Standard India, we are proud partners of WS Tyler (USA), who manufacture the iconic Ro-TAP sieve shaker, and Haver and Boecker (Germany), whose range of EML Sieve Shakers is widely used as well. Please do get in touch with us for all your Sieve Shaker requirements.
